TERMS AND CONDITIONS - FLY TO PARIS WITH OOREDOO

Promotion Overview 

1. “Fly to Paris with Ooredoo” (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion”) is a promotion conducted by Ooredoo Maldives PLC (hereinafter referred to as ‘Ooredoo’) for its customers whereby 1 (one) customer will be selected from all Eligible Customers via a lucky draw conducted by Ooredoo after the end of the Promotional Period, and the selected customer will receive the Benefits as specified hereunder.

Promotional Period 

2. The duration of the Promotion shall be from 00:00 hours of 18th October 2023 till 23:59 hours of 31st December 2023, (referred to herein as the “Promotional Period”).

Eligibility 

3. Customers who satisfy the following conditions (referred to herein as ‘Eligible Customers’) will be eligible for and included in the lucky draw conducted by Ooredoo after the end of the Promotional Period:

(a) Customer shall be;

(i) an existing Ooredoo prepaid Mobile customer who upgrades their service to postpaid during the Promotional Period;
(ii) a customer who ports in to Ooredoo Mobile network during the Promotional Period, whether on a prepaid and postpaid package;
(iii) a customer who activates a new Ooredoo Mobile postpaid connection during the Promotional Period;
(iv) an existing Ooredoo customer who upgrades their Ooredoo Mobile postpaid connection during the Promotional Period;
(v) a customer who activates a new Ooredoo postpaid package for SuperNet, Faseyha HBB (Home Broadband), Faseyha Mini, Faseyha Plus or 5G AirFibre; or
(vi) an existing Ooredoo customer who upgrades their postpaid package for SuperNet, Faseyha HBB (Home Broadband), Faseyha Mini, Faseyha Plus or 5G AirFibre.

(b) Where a customer subscribes to any service(s) out of those stated in clause 3 (a) above, but such service is not payable or paid for by the individual customer (i.e. services that are paid for or payable by entities on behalf of the individual customer), then in such an instance the customer shall not be considered as an Eligible Customer.
(c) Customer shall remain active on Ooredoo network until end of 31st January 2024.
(d) Where a customer that has subscribed to any of the service(s) out of those stated in clause 3 (a) above, thereafter and prior to 1st February 2024 downgrades the same service, then in such an instance the customer shall not be considered as an Eligible Customer.
(e) Where a customer subscribes to more than one type of service and/or multiple instances of the same type of service out of those stated in clause 3 (a) above during the Promotional Period, each such subscription will be considered as an additional entry for the lucky draw. For example, if a customer subscribes to the services in clause 3 (a) (i) and (ii) during the Promotional Period, then such customer’s name will be included in the lucky draw twice, provided the other conditions included herein are fulfilled.

Eligibility 

4. After the end of the Promotional Period, a lucky draw will be conducted by Ooredoo among all Eligible Customers. The lucky draw shall be conducted during the month of February 2024, or any other such date as decided by Ooredoo at its discretion.

5. The winner of the lucky draw conducted under this Promotion shall receive the following benefits (referred to herein as “Benefits”);
  (a) 1 (one) return ticket to Paris, France for 1 (one) person;
  (b) full board accommodation in Paris, France for 2 (two) nights 3 (three) days for 1 (one) person;
  (c) 3 (three) meals per day (three days) in Paris, France; and
  (d) Ooredoo VIP Lounge Access to Parc Des Princes Stadium to watch PSG vs Lyon football match scheduled to be held on 21st April 2024. This will be inclusive of the ticket to watch the match at the stadium.

6. The winner of the lucky draw shall not be allowed to claim or entitled for money or any alternate compensation or benefit in substitution of the Benefits or any part thereof.

General Terms

7. Only 1 (one) customer will be selected from all the Eligible Customers to receive the Benefits under this Promotion. The lucky draw shall be conducted during the month of February 2024, or any other such date as decided by Ooredoo at its discretion.

8. The lucky draw may be held directly by Ooredoo or any other party as may be decided by Ooredoo in its sole and entire discretion.

9. In order to inform the winning customer of the lucky draw, Ooredoo is only required to call the phone number associated with or listed as the primary contact (in case of non-mobile services) of, respective service which entitled the customer to become and Eligible Customer under this Promotion. Ooredoo will attempt to call the number on three different occasions. Where the Customer is not deemed reachable or unresponsive at the sole discretion and opinion of Ooredoo, Ooredoo may decide to disregard the win entirely or award the win to another Eligible Customer as may be decided by Ooredoo in its sole and entire discretion.

10. The announcement of the lucky winner of the Promotion will be made at the sole and entire discretion of Ooredoo. By accepting the Benefits, the winning customer agrees and consents to Ooredoo taking and utilizing pictures and videos of the customer for purposes of announcing the winner of the Promotion and for Ooredoo’s promotional and advertisement purposes thereafter.

11. Ooredoo has the right, in its sole and entire discretion to change the Benefits as it deems fit or cancel the Benefits offered entirely without any liability to its customers.

12. The terms and conditions of the Promotion as specified herein shall override any other communication received to a customer in relation to this Promotion, whether or not such is communicated to the customer by Ooredoo.

13. Ooredoo may at any time by its sole and entire discretion chose to suspend, revoke or terminate the Promotion without any liability whatsoever to any customer.
